What happend to allow Stoke to almost grab our glory ? We were fantastic from 5 mins onwards till around the 80th. Was it their subs who changed the game or ours ?
Just can't handle turning into a nervous wreck anymore.

I think it was a combination of;

• Them getting a goal back from a dodgy set piece gave them confidence/hope
• Our players getting tired
• Subs - both theirs and ours

That was a Deja Vue experience, but not a similar one to the West Brom debacle last year thankfully.. On a more serious note; I feel the last ten minutes showed us that Stoke are a very decent team which just need time to gel properly..

We took a striker off and put a centre back on inviting pressure I would. Of like to have seen Jan get his full debut

We were winning, shouldn't have changed anything.

thats every football game not just us - how many teams go into their shell defending a one goal lead - take the positive rather than the negative - Last season stoke would have scored ! we conceded so many goals after 90 mins last season. the fact that we didn't despite intense pressure in the last 10 should be seen as a positive.

That is very true about last seasons letting goals in and giving penalties away at the very end. Hope its a thing of past.
