They were out of contract though so a bit different to our situation.

        Loan players.

We signed players on freebies cos our Owners were too tight for transfer fees, but we paid massive wages on long contracts which in effect starngled us slowly after relegation as we had players on massive money who no-one wanted.

They were out of contract coz Fulham weren't foolish enough to give them long term contracts.

Fulham still have plenty of high earning players on long term contracts and they will be in the #### like us if they don’t bounce back soon.

They'll sell Sessignon for loadsamoney..... Should tide them over for a bit and cover the wages of the lumps they can't shift on.

                This is oh so true.

If our owners had spent money on fees they could have bought some quality players and on cheaper wages that they could have sold on after relegation (not that they would necessarily have been relegated with them in the side).
