That’s the one. Although I’ve only just noticed the large Swansea crest on the wall, despite the Rangers shirt.

I'll forgive him that. He's only on loan after all, so probably still lives in Swansea. More importantly his kid is in a Rangers shirt.

He's not on loan. Swansea released him in the summer. He's just on a short term contract. It was probably held in Swansea as most of his kids friends would be there.
Unless that's in his back garden lol

I assume we are allowed extend his contract to end of season as he is a free agent, despite our transfer ban?

afaik we can bring in free transfers, loans and even spend money as long as its 75% of what we sell someone for. we basically have to sell to buy.
extending contracts doesn't factor into any of it so we could easily extend rangel's contract and be fine

Hope you're right cos we will have a hard job replacing someone of his quality.

Liked the tweet that said he and his wife took to the streets of Swansea last Christmas to give food to the homeless.

A great interview, he does seem to be really enjoying his football here, he's been very solid, a steadying force, I like the fact that he can play Left Back if needed as well!

What a fantastic bloke! I think many of us thought, eh, Rangel, 35 (36 now), over the hill, surely? The hill we should have been thinking about was Clint. We've got a new Clint Hill in Angel and I hope we have him for the whole season. Hats off to all concerned in bringing him in.

Fantastic acquisition. Dunno how physically robust he is though.... May have to rest him strategically to keep him fresh for big games and/or the run-in. I hate the international breaks but have to concede they are handy if Angel gets a little rest because of them. Can someone adapt the song Angel of Harlem into a chant for him? I can only come up with Angel of Shepherds Bush but it doesn't scan right......

Is it possible to change the L to a R in his last name?
