    Ferdinand/Ramsey

It's being reported that Ramsey has been earmarked for Ferdinand job if Les decides to
take the job at the FA.
    Do we need a DOF?
Is Ramsey the right man for the job?
In my opinion Ramsey excels at what he does
at the moment and should stay with our youngsters.

I've had my moans and this season started off very badly, but there is signs of
Ferdinand's strategy is showing signs of flourishing

Ramsey is far better qualified than Les for the role.

The problem is that neither have the business head a DoF role requires. It shouldn't, but it does.

Truth is most quality gaffers would manage perfectly well without a DoF, and probably prefer it that way.

I'm not even sure we need another DOF in just yet. We have a transfer embargo in Jan and will be doing very little business. If they are going to go with the set up again they need to take their time to search for a good one.

Why does a manager have business head but not a Dof?

So who has been out there completing all the deals for the youth players we've brought in to the club over the last 3 years ?

If the mighty Sir Les goes then yes. We have set the club up for a DoF type structure. CR knows the club, a respected coach and comes across intelligent. Doesn't guarantee he will be a great DoF but would be an easy fit and gives us continuity.

I'm sure we are due for some cost cutting and Amit is fully aware where cost can be made , likely to made in areas behind the scenes imo I don't think we will appoint another for

I personally would prefer Chris Ramsay to stay where he was.
