I have been supporting since around 73 when McLintock joined from Arsenal (my brothers and cousins supported them), and started going in 76/77 whenever my dad or brothers would relent and take me to games.

Started going in the same season, 71/72.

But I was only 8, so doubt we met.

Dad used to take my brother and I to Palace in the '70s as it was nearer when we were kids but saw Stan play on the Big Match (plus the rest of THAT team) in 75/76 and decided that was my team.
