Relying totally on the loanees is not good. Perhaps as a stop-gap measure, but not for long term. We've got to bring our own young players on. Got to. So for me Kakay should be in the side and Smyth should get at least a decent run-out. Unlikely that Hemed and Wells match fit - but if they are, play them for sure. We need width so Pawel should play. We need a playmaker so either Luongo or Freeman. You just knew McClown would play Ingram again, it's wot manager do, innit. But it was the wrong move and he better have the balls to drop him now and play Lumley.

I don't think Bidwell's as bad as people make out, he's had plenty of solid games. Lynch is a farking nightmare at the moment though, so I'd drop him. What does that give us? Something like:

    Defence:

    Lumley

    Kakay Leistner Baptiste Bidwell

The lack of pace is the real worry here. We still desperately need someone to replace the Chief. But right now....? If Hall is fit, he goes in for Leistner. Baptiste has more nous than Leistner at this level. But since McClown made Leistner captain, I guess that's unlikely.

    Midfield:

    Scowen

    Wszolek Freeman Eze.

Luongo is doing nothing right now. BOS is ineffective in a struggling side.

    Attack:

Choose 2 from Smyth, Sylla, Hamed, Wells.

Not so sure it'll matter if he plays the same keeper and defence BFG, Lynch, ,Bidwell, midfield very poor at the moment. Cousins deffo not the answer, a striker may give a bit up top, but the same problems are still there. after a 3-0 win at stoke Wigan will be after blood,

It all depends who Schteve picks? If he insists on Ingram in nets, recalls Long ball Lynch, picks can’t mark Bidwell, and plays the unstoppable midfield 3, plus the rubbish Cousins...then I can only see one outcome again...another defeat! Defence is a real issue. Need Hall back desperately, but will he be the same player again after such a nasty injury and so long out the game? Hope so for our sake.
