Ha ha, me too pal! I just hope to God : Ingram, Lynch, Bidwell, Luongo, Cousins and Washington are no where near the starting line up on Sat after their recent lack of effort in their performances or it could be defeat number 5! Put them out to pasture Schteve!

With Hemed in the bag and hopefully Wells to follow before the weekend, and unfortunately expecting no more incomings before then (as I still feel we need another Centre Half and a Left back at least), I'd go with the following :

        Lumley

        Rangel Hall Baptiste Haameleinen

        Wszolek Scowen Freeman Smyth

        Hemed Eze or Wells

Got to give Lumley a go, as Ingram has been woeful! But if he's not up to it, then we may need a new GK in on loan aswell!

Chris what a mess! And to think our best player on the park on Tues was a 35 year old supposed bit player / squad player this season at Centre half, just about confirms our lack of ability in the squad!

This except Baptiste for Toni and Lynch if Hall isn't fit.
                oh and Pawel for Luongo.

I see that some are dropping Freeman from the starting line up. It will not make any sense. He is one with the most assists in the Championship and you want him dropped? We have two good strikers and with Freeman feeding them, we can now score goals. I also feel that Conor is badly treated by some. Granted that he is not a prolific scorer, however, we do need his work rate. Maybe try him on the right wing? Ok, we do have Smyth and Pawel in that position, but I think he can be an asset in another position than a striker.

                    revised team too

                    lumley
                    rangel leistner baptiste bidwell
                    luongo scowen freeman
                    eze
                    wells hemed

didn't wanna go for the midfield 3 and wanted some width but i'd love to see eze, wells and hemed all in the same team so it was tricky to pick

People still picking Bidders and Luongo I see. Think we can all agree on goalkeeper and strikers at least.

                          Lumley
Kakay, Leinster, Hall (Baptiste if not fit), Rangel
                          Cousins, Scowen,
                          Eze, Freeman
                          Hemed, Wells

not much of a formation but message to Cousins is just run and. Tackle things. Everyone else - just feel that they are our best players

Freeman is a total ball hog who creates so many lost striking opportunities cause he feels he has to do it all by himself. No one disputes Conor's work rate, but he has failed to show ANY scoring touch for more than three seasons; that signing just hasn't panned out. I believe we need to put more speed on the field (Chair, Smyth, Bright Osayi-Samuel). Right now, in the midfield, we have a slow Luongo, a chippy yet pass sloppy Scowen, and a "I'm bigger than this team" prima donna in Freeman. I'd try Cousins and Eze and Bright and Chair more; what do we have to lose that we're not already losing from?

Diamond formation, assuming they are all fit

                              Lumley
                              Rangel Hall Lynch Bidwell
Cousins (think he needs a run and his pace will help against a good Wigan team)
                              Freeman Luongo
                              Eze
                              Wells Hemed

If they aren't fit, then I think

                                Lumley
Rangel Hall Lynch (tbf any of them, all pretty average) Bidwell
                                Cousins Luongo
                                Freeman Eze Bright-Samuel
                                Smyth

I dont mind 1 up to if we have others that join him in the box. We got promoted first time around with 1 up top.

I think Washington played well last game in fairness to him, but confidence has gone at home and he gets pelters. Like Ramsay did at Arsenal, only play him away until his form turns.
