1 year deal but i hope this doesn't stop the development of Kakay and Furlong when he comes back. Maybe he can teach them a thing or two and improve their game

Great experience which the youngsters will benefit from but beyond that, will wait to reserve judgement.

My concerns are that our defence could now consist of 2 new players, one of whom is from the German second tier (who made a few silly, but not costly, mistakes last night) and a 35 year full back.

Rangel is here mostly for cover and experience in the dressing room.. will help the youngsters out and give tips etc.

5 month deal mate. And in the interview he says experience while Furlong is out is why he's been brought in.

He is 35 and Kayay and Furlong makes the same age combined. Great to have a player like him in the squad.

If all goes well then I think they'll extend him until the end of the season. Unless he's been keeping fit over the summer it's gonna take him about 3-4 weeks to get up to speed.
