    The Dof

With the window closed and having failed to secure any of the signings that we targeted, one could be forgiven for expecting the dof to come out with a statement and to appeal for the fans to remain calm.
Also it would have been nice for him to state that we will be active in the loan window and looking to strengthen the squad.
It has been Lee hoos who has stepped up and is telling use what to expect with regards to loans.
Also says that the players need to fight for 90mins etc etc.
So since the contract extention of eze, the dof has not been seen or heard from since.

    Where is he?

The 2 CB, one turned us down & other to expensive, so I don’t see how we failed there, as regards other targets was there any? We couldn’t afford to buy so it will be loans as hoos said & really didn’t Les to come out & say anymore than hoos said.

Maybe, just maybe, he's busy trying to get some loan signings in, rather than appeasing the fans who whinge the loudest...

Sainsbury went to PSV and Hefele decided that a 3 yr deal was better than a 1yr loan so what were we to do in that respect. And i don't give a monkeys nudger who comes out and tells the fans. Hoos did and that's good enough for me. Why does it HAVE to be Ferdinand. As long as someone at the club is keeping the fans up to date with news then that should be good enough but seems it never is for some people.

The ironic thing is, if Les did come out with a statement, someone on here would be starting a thread moaning about the fact that Les has wasted time making a statement, rather than concentrating on getting loan signings in

i'm not even sure it was hefele's decision - huddersfield probably decided to move a player they didn't want on permanently rather than loan him for a season.... not much we could do, other than match/improve terms that forest were offering.
