When Smithies went was very vocal about the assumption Ingram and Lumley were ready and good enough considering their lack of experience and yesterday highlighted the improvement needed by Ingram. Made a good save in the 2nd half but with his feet will lose us points.

Bristol City and QPR may have been handed a boost in their chase for Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli.

The highly-rated 26-year-old played a key role in the Cottagers' promotion back to the Premier League last season, but appears to have slipped down the pecking order after the arrivals of Fabri and Sergio Rico.

That led to speculation Bettinelli could leave on loan, with the Robins and QPR both said to be interested in him.

Dave are you privvy to things that are happening behind the scenes. Why not give the guys some time to do what they have to do rather than dissing every report that comes out. We may go for these two but it might not come off so we'll move onto other targets. This happens at every club.
