Having had no response from TFL twitter or FB, I have just called them. The person I spoke to, after putting me on hold for several minutes because she could see the email and that it conflicts with what the website says - has now said she'll call me back with a definitive response. Watch this space!

Ok, TFL finally got back to me - the email, that they sent to about 100,000 people, is wrong: H&C and Circle line running as normal Saturday.
