We made a profit on Polter, Chery, Smithies and have Freeman, Luongo plus 4 or 5 promising youngsters. Nothing great but last few years have shown significant improvement since prem days.

Ain't being funny mate, but that's rubbish. Have a look at our outlay on players in the last 2 seasons, and the fees we've got back in, it really ain't too bad. I actually think we are probably running at a decent profit. Admittedly we wasted far too much money in the first 3 or 4 years of Fermandes' tenure but things have been much better since Lee Hoos came in and started controlling the purse strings!

Jeff. Not jumping for joy at the last few days as not happy at our best player leaving for whatever reason. Like the look of young Smyth who needs locking down now or he will go for a bag of chips in January and looking forward to Eze having a decent go this year. Very good post West. We don't actually know the details but it would not surprise me at all if this was the case.

Ethereridge has just signed a new contract at Cardiff, he’s their No.1 keeper so Smithies is going to be be a bench warmer. Lack of ambition on Smithies part I think
