Think right decision and right timing. Will give new person whole pre-season to get ready. We have some decent youngsters coming through and need someone who can nurture them. If it is Steve, as an ex England manager and with his experience both here and abroad think he would get respect of both younger and more experienced players. Not been overly convinced with him as a number 1 but could see him working well in a DoF set up. Doesn't hurt he has had a little taster with club under 'Arry.

Even as an Olliesceptic have some sympathy for him. Always enthusiastic, got players fired up and tried his best. Can't argue at all with his effort and application.

I echo the sentiments that Pinkie should be granted an amnesty. That said if he doesn't come back expect to see a new poster, maybe called bluie or something, who won't hear a word against Steve or whoever new manager is!
