    Lets Talk About Heidar Helgusson

I was hoping some stat man would help me out, but I've had to study it myself.

    joins on loan November 20th

plays 4 full games plsu 1 as sub = 3 goals (2 versus preston) at Loftus Road we all sing "sign him up, sign him up"

Thats a good ratio in anyone's book

    leaves 20th December..
We go to Charlton on Boxing Day, most fans get wind of a rumour that we will NOT sign him. The club get blamed that we couldn't sign a tea-lady.

He plays for Iceland scores the winner. (surely if he is unfit, or fails fitness tested) he does not play for Iceland?

Anway, we sign him much to the delight of QPR fans on 2nd January 2009.

To which Paulo on the official website says

" Heidar has proved to be a valuable addition to the squad in recent weeks and I am delighted we've managed to sign him here on a permanant deal.

" he is a proven goalscorer at this level and I'm sure QPR supporters will welcome him to the family"

At that point as all QPR fans, we were all delighted wth the signing.

So if he failed a medical that has been alledged, when was it?

    Whilst he was on loan

    After he played for Iceland

or before he signed for QPR?

This player was bought for 2 million pounds by Bolton.

Yes, I admit we need two more good strikers. but hindight is a wonderful thing, who after he scored 3 goals in 4 games did not want Heidar Helgusson?

So why did we sign him if he had failed a medical?

I wouldn't mind an answer to that. It is absolutely baffling.

When could he have possibly failed a medical.

Your'e an english teacher, work it out.

I think it points to the fact, he never did fail a medical

I don't need to be believed. Just as interested to get to the bottom of it.

he played for Iceland 3 days before signed for QPR. When did he fail a medical?

depends which side of the fence you sit?

What do they think of him at Watford?

                      is my assessment not accurate?

I seem to remember he scored 3 goals in 4 games and we chanted

"sign him up, sign him up", but I could be wrong.

We did not think that Kaspers gorkss was any goo either by memory.

                            believe it or not

We beat Preston 3-2 in his last game before he went back to Bolton.

                            HE SCORED TWO

                            We all did.

Though, I'd admit he cannot hit a barn door now.

                            That is hindsight
