Shamefully this thread already shows, that despite getting 4-5 players in, on which 2 are definite quality, some are already writing them off because they are not full backs FFS, you go up by scoring goals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep hearing that we have the best defenders in the league and that last year they were good, well they are the same players apart from Delaney

Quality of defence last year was more down to coaching as opposed to ability.

Despite our great defensive displays last season everyone was still screaming for Full Backs in the summer.

I guess we still identify this as a problem area on the pitch and recent good displays from Tommy Williams have showed us what we have been lacking

Tommy Smith isn't the answer either we need a Leon Best type striker and have done for quite some time now.

For that reason Chris could only promise us 2 goals per season.
