    Mr dowie

Bet he is wetting himself. Best manager weve had since takeover. If he wasnt treated so disgustingly by that fat eyetie **** i guarantee we would be playing a premiership team this weekend. STOP MAKING MY CLUB A FAAARKIIING JOKE YOU PEEENAAARRRSSSEEE. Give me the happy relegation dogfights any day of the week over this piffle

For all those laughing at this post, he had by far the best record of any manager since Venebles, don't believe me? look it up.

15 Games or so does not constitute a comparable record with some one over a couple of seasons we barely played a top team under Dowie, and if he was so good surely he would be managing someone else by now

53% win ratio if we had that now we would be in the top 2:cry::cry::cry:

dowies face didnt fit from the start, bit like crouchie, if you dont look right then you get less praise. Dowie done very well with us, he was very honest and the team certainly knew how to hold on to a lead. Fair enuff it werent quite 5-0 wins, but i guarantee we wouldnt of lost 5-1 at home to ANYBODY.

Dowie's team always start brightly then slip slidey away (apart from his 1 "glory" season with Palace). Coventry were exactly the same the season before and ending up in a relegation battle - exactly where IMO we would have been had he remained

People don't like Dowie because of his playing days, I know he was never pretty, but he got the job done. He was one ot the best directional headers of a ball I've ever seen. No sense being a 'target man' if you can't create something from it.
His management style was the same, not pretty, but got the job done. It all depends whether you want to play pretty football in the CCC, or winning ugly for a PL spot.
