i think helguson can do well if we use him correctly. but i am not really a fan tbh, always misses those sitters.

whatever anyone says they cant deny some of the chances he wasted were criminal, and he is usually injured aswell.

if we did sell i think we should at the very least get half of what we paid back. didnt we buy him for 1 mill?

It's well known that Watford are in a lot of financial strife and I'm not suprised to hear they don't want to part with too much cash for Helgusson.

Lets face it, he has been a poor signing for us. Injury prone, overweight and lacking confidence in front of goal.

Something worth bearing in mind is that Watford are looking to reduce their wage bill and need to sell players. Perhaps we should be looking at their squad and who may fit in at Loftus Road (John-Joe O'Toole anyone?!!!). Helgusson could be used as a makeweight or even a straight swap for any potential transfer deal!

Based on Ellington's form at Watford, why would you offer Helgusson and money?

From what I can tell, he has been worse for Watford than Helguson has been for QPR.

I'd consider a straight swap if the wages are about the same.

Cleverley and Lansbury are both class acts, which is why they are Man U & Arsenal players.

I personally feel we should sell. They like worship him over there. We won't get much for him due to his age and his injuries. May as well do it now before we lose even more money from him.
