    Smithies

was immense last season and rightly regarded as one of best In leauge.
But, anyone else think he's been poor this season especially for his standards?
is it telling no one bought him off the back of last season?

Agree, he hasnt been anywhere near his usual brilliant self this season.
    Another one going nowhere imho.

A move to another championship club will be the best he can do this summer. Don't see any of the promoted clubs or lower half prem clubs banging down our door to sign him.

Yep was thinking the same the other day, still decent but nowhere near as good as last year. Don't see him going anywhere

Do we have a gk coach? Lots of specific work to keep them at the top of their game.

I think he's still been steady this season.

you'd like to think at his age he can't be coached anymore , he must know his strengths and weaknesses , which positions to take up etc

Top notch keeper but agree he’s not been as hot between the sticks as last season

Would still rather be with him then without

He's had to put up with the tw*t in the hat messing about with the team in front of him.
He's a great keeper, and should be kept

Is a very fair point - keeper is part of the defensive unit so benefits from consistency

Anyone else feel as if he concedes the type of goals that were hulls 1st and 3rd a lot? Personally I think he should be doing better with them . Wouldn’t be against giving Ingram a go tbh.

Think our minds are a little clouded as last season
made numerous penalty saves which at one point
you expected him to save any given against us.

This season not the case but for me still a solid keeper
                          considering 3-5-2,defensive changes etc

Last season i dont ever remember thinking 'oh i think he should of stopped' that mate.
This season ive thought it a few times, think Reading and Fulham away are two that both come to my mind.
Still love him though, he just set such a high standard for himself last season like you said.
