Cos you consistently fail to acknowledge the fact that Ollie made a hash of the first 7 months of this season. You're always looking to deflect blame from him, or put it down to us being 'a work in progress' or whatever.

If I'm honest, the thing that annoys me the most is I know full well you've only watched a fraction of the games, yet your prepared to go head to head with fans that go every week and tell them they're wrong.

Yes, with the exception of the WB position which is a highly specialised role that relatively few players can carry out consistently well, especially Bidwell and Pawel who were never comfortable in that role for 3/4 of the season and it held the team back massively as we all witnessed in the performances during that period. No coincidence that as soon as they were played in their correct positions and we reverted to a back 4 the results, performances and confidence levels instantly shot up.

It’s between the two views surely? Several players have had a chance to show what they can do and have emerged as great prospects. Good players should be able to adapt to a system that suits the game in question. Looks like we could be set up well for next season as a result, as long as mistakes from this season are learned from.

Hurts me to admit it, but I find myself congratulating Ollie, done real well with next to nothing to spend and has the making of a really exciting young team for the future.

Not training sessions but know for a fact that some of the staff that sit on the bench on matchdays had been just as bewildered by the persistence with 3-5-2 as the rest of us. We've also had players coming out in the media saying how much more comfortable they are with 4 at the back. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that strong words must have been had behind the scenes to instigate a change, with the 2-5 home reverse to Forest being the main catalyst.

We'd be right in the mix if that change had come sooner. Still, better late than never.

I knew about the rumours of staff having a moan on the bench; but was more interested in what exactly Ollie was seeing on the training ground to keep going with that formation and selecting CW up front.
What bill said above makes a bit of sense, as we know Ollie loves a trier; what I couldn't wrap my head around was why he persisted with 3-5-2, if so many people were pointing out the error of his ways.

Well that's been the 64,000 dollar question for some time. Personally think it was just downright stubbornness, but really wouldn't be surprised if some strong words weren't exchanged behind closed doors. The contrast post the forest match has been soo palpable.

credit where credits due, we played well today. we had no bite in the first half but the second half display was awesome to watch!! manning looked like he was wearing a norwich home kit by the end of the game, i was really impressed by his all round performance, hes a right battler. motm is a very hard one as the likes of lynch, ned, manning, smith and freeman all put in brilliant performances today. not one player had a bad game.

i love the 4 at the back, our defence just looks so solid now. absolutely loved the game today even though i wasn't there it was a performance that'll stop hitman's son supporting spurs instead.

eze brings so much to the team, hes an outlet and has that class that we've been lacking in the final third, hes always avaliable for a pass and just drifts through players whenever he has the ball. brilliant game

@nas, how many points on average have we picked up since switching to 4 at the back compared to playing 3 at the back? would love to know
