    Championship's top tackler

    Luongo.

According to the statistics, the Australian international has achieved 115 successful tackles so far this season; 14 more than the man in second place.

Good player for us and have to try to keep him. Would rather sell Freeman and keep Luongo and Smithies.

Gotta be Dion Dublin back in the day, not sure who it would be today, Sol bamba?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

'Cos the best with assists and the best with tackles don't do anything else.

Means fck all though doesn't it. I bet Wolves and Fulham have decent CM tacklers but they never really have to as they are usually on the offensive.

In fact, someone tell me where Mc Donald and Saiss are on that list.

Also, sort of indicates he's carrying the team whereas successful sides probably share the goals, assists, tackles around the whole team as opposed to everything going through one overworked player. Plus, it's easier for opposition to nullify or shut us down if they only have to focus on stopping one player.

Because we only have 1 player who provides assists (mostly). Other teams have 2 or 3.

Freeman is 6th and Smith 9th in the top ten of most shots in the division as well.

They all looked like shots but were really passes.
