Like I said, huge failure. Bit like Ollie really.
Funny how some people don't see it your way, but just see sacked by those two clubs.

Rowett must also be a failure because Birmingham sacked him for on;y taking them up from bottom to 7th in less than 18 months.

    • Your heart was/is in the right place when you clearly stated on social media that you were/are "Always a Hammer".

Well. You've $punked the best part of a billion pounds on absolute $hyte to leave us way, way worse off that we we're under Tango and Cash.

Go away you fool - and take that absolute joke of a manager with you.

Even your F1 car was voted the worst looking in history...... When it occasional finished.

I want my Rangers back.... even if it is in the Ryman.

      • If Fernandes would have git his way he would have got West Ham but the 2 David's would not trade with him. The question is how long will it take for our club to recover for his total mismanagement.

Do you think its fair to say that’s a bit melodramatic?

You say you want your Rangers back? That would suggest you are used to many seasons of something better. Other than the complete one off amazing season in the Championship which was reliant on Adel possibly the most influential player in the Championship ever (by goals and assists). Can you give me an equivalent list when it was better for a previous season in the 15 year absence from the prem?

2017/2018: 1st team stand outs: Freeman, Smithies, Luongo, Robinson, and Scowen
Prospects for the future; Eze, Smyth, Manning and Lumley

Looking back on those seasons since 1997/98 up until we stumbled across a genius to win us the league in 2011 I can’t think of too many Rangers teams that were that had enough extra about them to justify such a melodramatic post.
Bernie and Flavio wouldn’t even buy the one player other than Adel from the promotion season who would go on to have sustained and proven Premiership (relative) success (Routledge £1.5m) so they weren’t that great.

Give it a few years and we will achieve Ryman. Just have some patience.

I'm not a fan of a reactionary fiscal policy aka boom / bust economics. That's the whole fvckin point. Just because Uncle enjoyed a spell as the most unsuccessful chairman in football history (on the basis outlined), does not mean that a retreat into the lower reaches of the EFL makes sense financially........ no one should be complacent re our current status.

Another way of improving the ratio would be to win football matches on a more regular basis, but lest's leave that inconvenient truth out of the equation.

JUST DONE A BIT OF DIGGING.

NOPE, HE HAS NOT INVESTED 1MIL IN QPR, IN FACT, HE IS INVESTING IN ANOTHER COMPANY THROUGH HIS TUNE GROUP.............

9.45am: Upland Resources races higher as it welcomes former Lotus F1 team owner as new cornerstone investor
Upland Resources Ltd (LON:UPL) raced higher on Wednesday after the junior oiler announced that former Lotus F1 team and QPR Football Club owner Tony Fernandes is to take a 16.2% stake in the business.

Fernandes, through his Tune Group holding company which he founded alongside Kamarudin Meranun, has subscribed for 74.1mln shares at 1.35p apiece.

That will raise £1mln for Upland, which it will use to fund work on its existing assets as well as on new ventures.

“We are very pleased to welcome Tune as a new, high profile, cornerstone investor and to be one of the few companies in which this highly successful and entrepreneurial group has chosen to invest,” said Upland boss Steve Staley.

“With Tune's backing we will be able to pursue the very exciting Wick Prospect and to finance other future opportunities. The investment by Tune supports Upland's move to the second phase of our strategy, to invest in high impact assets, which will help us realise potentially transformative value growth.”

Despite the shares being issued at a slight discount, the stock jumped 9.8% higher to 1.68p early on Wednesday.

Route One. You are absolutely correct about the 15 years before promotion. Quite frankly, QPR have been very mediocre as a Championship side and this is what I was saying in 2015 when some fans on here were half hoping for relegation so that they can at least watch QPR challenging for promotion again.

Fernandes has however, been truly awful as a Chairman. His decison making and appointments to help him and the 1st team have been dreadful. The list includes, Beard, who should have reined in on the spending by Hughes & Redknapp.

Ferdinand firstly as an advisor then DoF, was another mistake as was agreeing to appoint Ramsey as manager twice, then overlooking Warnock to appoint JFH, and finally appointing Holloway.

This FFP mess the club is in is all down to the Chairman not really being competent enough to appoint the right people or to even override the poor decisions those appointed to their jobs were making. He should not have signed off those financially crippling contracts.

On winning promotion there was an article in the Standard, where he said 'we have learnt from our mistakes' and quite clearly he hadn't done so.

We all make mistakes and poor decisions so a few here and there are acceptable, but his whilst Chairman of QPR just keep going on and on.

I hope he is better for them than he was for Caterham (Lotus F1) or has been for QPR. The man is a menace to anything he touches in sport. Should be banned under ‘fit and proper’ rules. It’ll take QPR decades to recover from this mess.

                            • Northolt. I agree the man should never be allowed to be anywhere near any sports project and we could end up the way of Caterham F1 team and that is out of business. None of us could have done a worse job as chairman of the club.
