I was asked about David Wheeler in an online Q&A and I gave my opinion that the move hasn't worked out. Based on that and the fact the club are trimming the fat he could be a contender to leave, but that's just my opinion; not based on anything coming out of the club.

Thing is it wasn't even an article. He was simply giving his opinion in answer to a question during a live webchat, and said it wasn't based on anything come out of the club. Other news outlets then go and pick up on what he said and starting publishing fake news and before you know it, it's all over social media.
