I also think it’s disrespectful to Exeter who allowed their better player to leave & we haven’t given him a fair chance to prove himself
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

Fully agree but we can't rely on a team of kids, no matter how hungry they are.

I agree a mixture is probably more healthy

For sure. We have some very good young players coming through and I'm excited about it, as long as they're not rushed in and we are reliant on them. That's too much pressure and isn't good for their development. Balance is key.

I'm feeling hungry but would never advocate picking me.

Should be better once I've had some lunch.

Couldn't disagree more Buddy I don't think any of us has seen enough of Wheeler to cast an opinion , those inside the club have seen what they think he has or hasn't got as
Regards to being disrespectful to Exeter , business is a dog eat dog world the club at last is attempting to do what's best or QPR

Only way you're really going to know is to give them a go. For every Charlie Austin or Jamie Vardy, I bet there is 100 David Wheelers.

I'm also pretty sure we got him for peanuts. He was at Exeter who are a tiny club with modest resources, and in the final year of his contract. We might even make a tidy profit on the guy when we shift him on.
the point is, he has not been given the chance.

what i want to know is, who actually signed him.

Maybe he ain't doing enough to be given a chance mate. You gonna pick him over Smyth or Chair if those 2 are busting a gut in training and Wheeler ain't?

Ain't saying that's definitely the case, just saying that we don't know and we have to assume that the club have their reasons.

agree but what happened to our scouting "the rightsort"

god of scouts gary penrice is supposed to know everything about the players, skill levels, ability, versitility, their manner and behaviour.

this is what dof les and ian holloway have been saying about ole pen.

how did he get it so wrong if thats the case?

Every player you sign has to be a success?
He could be a bad apple. In fact id bet on that.

Cos he was mustard when he played, and hollowhead the clueless clown is trying players out lately.
