Should give him a chanceOriginally posted by topperharley View PostExcited when he signed.
Delay in him getting his name on the team sheet is reminding me of why i forgot about him last time he was here.
Basically he's a troubled little gobsh*te who can't get his sheet together.
Until he gets on the pitch and plays to his potential that's all he is.
And he dresses like a 12 year old.Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

He’s a 24 year old professional footballer, spends 4-5 days a week on a training pitch or in the gym and not exactly carrying much timber.Originally posted by blueandwright View PostObviously not mate. Honestly think people are reading into it too much, the guy hasn't played at a competitive level for a long time.
If they wanted to get 60-70 mins plus out of him, easily, they could. No doubt at all about that. There is something more to it. 100%

He's been touted as one of the best talents of English football for the last 8 years. The fact he's bounced around from club to club never making it, despite his obvious talent, that's how.Originally posted by Greg1882 View PostSorry but how do you know how hard he's working to get fit?
Sure, he might well prove me wrong and i really, really hope he does. But his track record indicates he has to prove himself rather than be given a special tag.
*Edit - I'll add to that i hope the last month has been non-stop work for him, and he is at least on the bench tomorrow. I have zero idea what he's been up to, but he's just come from Lazio, surely they have training facilities?
