Bang on. Nothing to do with what league you play in if you have enough talent and someone that can put the right players playing together.

            Sad fact really.

Does amaze me though if Oxlade-Chamberlain (who is sh*te) gets picked consistently why not give Tom Cairney (for example, who is probably a class above the Championship) a chance ?

Our very own Jay Bothroyd in 2010 played for England while still at championship Cardiff.

ha..doh! Born in England though wasn't he or was that something I imagined?

Point is, there are some quality Championship players that will get overlooked for absolute donkeys like Oxlade Chamberlain. Same goes for some of those at unfashionable PL clubs. Mark Noble consistently overlooked when he was performing better than someone like Henderson.

Manning playing for Irland U-21 tonight

Against Norway. Upfront on his own it looks like.

Shouldn't he be playing wing back?

Manning is quite lively in a nr.10 position, but Jake Mulraney has scored for Irland. I-1. Martin Ødegaard scored an excellent 1st. goal for Norway.

Mulraney was quite lively in the first 45 minute. Strong and dangerous (at this level) it looks like.

We don't have any young strikers coming through
