I agree with most that a striker better then Smith is still required.

Maybe but realistically what proven Championship strikers were available for the sort of money we can throw around ?

I'd say the only striker we actually missed out on is Matty Taylor and he is unknown at this level.

Rather have Smith and freeman with Ravel than Matty Taylor. 2 proven in the division and one way above this standard.

Anyone that we would miss or sad to see go though? Not for me.
The best business we did this window was keeping Smithies imo.
I actually cant believe we did, when you see some of the rubbish keepers in the prem and some of the even worse rubbish who moved to prem clubs this window. So shocked hes still here.

do you believe that is from a position of FFP or that our owners are skint/given up or a combination of the above...
