Is this the most underwhelming response to a signing in WATRB history?

The vibe I'm getting is this is another elk type gamble.
Fantastic at league 1 level, but not quite doing it at champs.

The bit that stands out in the link I've posted is that he's more a central player than a winger.

Not sure, Rickson a good poster imo, dunno why he'd make it up and tbf Kev we are desperate for a striker or 2 especially a hold up lump and no doubt Smith would be available as he doesnt get a look in at Fulham.

If we're signing Ravel then Freeman will be primarily used as a winger, although it's good to have the option of playing him as a 10 when Ravel isn't available. A solid Championship player but nothing special, although for £300k he's a great squad addition.
