    From what i can see is we aren't going to get relegated and we aren't going to get in the play offs, so why waste money now when we can wait till the summer and get him free. Then if he decides to go elsewhere then we move onto someone else who wants to play for us. I actually think he will come whatever and it may even be next week if Bristol realize they can get 500k now or nowt in the summer.

    Not worth spending money when we're trying to build both a team and a strong financial structure. The money can instead be reinvested internally ie longer contracts for the likes of hall, smithies, furlong, luongo and manning etc. Would much rather tie down proven key players/future than bring in players for the sake of it

    English teams cant agree pre-contracts with domestic players before the summer, as far as im aware
