OK so according to some we don't bring back Clint, we don't recall the loanees. We are unlikely to sign too many new players. So I guess we are just going to stay with what we've got, which nobody seems to want either.

Clint no, DF yes, JET yes. Doughty? Not for me but you could make a case on the basis that our cup isn't exactly overflowing.

JET? You must be having a laugh.

I'd have Clint back in a coaching role in a heartbeat.

I'm not jet's biggest fan either but i'd take him back for sure! On his day he can play like a top class championship player and has bags of quality. Only problem is hes a lazy prat but still, it cant be worse than the 'star strikers' we already have!

              I agree with this.

JET is a prima donna, who thinks he's way better than he actually is. But if we get him firing he could actually win us games. I look around the squad at the moment and I don't see too many match winners or players who can make something out of nothing. Chery should really be that player but clearly he'd rather sulk these days.

One thing jet does that no other player in our team ever does (anymore, chery used to) is shoot on goal from outside the box and on target.

Surely its as a coach I'm mean our 4 central defenders are very good at this level ,can't see him being first choice pick unless Caulker is being moved on to free up some money

He is starting today. If Warburton wants him as he says he does why come back? Next season he will be playing in Europe in all likelihood. Plus he may win a trophy or two. I hope he stays at Rangers and has a good end to his career. He served us well but he deserves all the games he is getting in an league better suited to him playing as long as possible.

Can't find Kevin's post to quote but yeah Jet is quality wise our best striker. I think he lacks the determination and work ethic, imagine there must be a manager somewhere that could so something.

Why? He's late 30s. He's not going to get quicker, he needs experience elsewhere and get his badges done. I thought you were all for development......

Re Jet. In case you haven't noticed we're a bit fvcked up top these days. Someone who can control a football might help. Merry Christmas ;)
