He needs to come back and beat into this current soft squad what it means to be a Qpr player as obviously they haven't grasped it.

Agree Ale and Clint should never have been let go in the summer.

Said it on a few other posts, other than a goalscorer I don't really think our squad is missing that much in terms of decent players for each position. What it is massively lacking though are leaders and of course, Clint falls into that category. Point I was trying to make is signing Clint Hill in January whilst helpful, may prove too little too late. Should have had a few leaders about the place all season!

Would love him back especially in a player/coach role as hes someone the club is massively missing. Sure we're going through rough times atm but given the stuff clints gone through with us this period would seem like a holiday!

Ill admit though, i was ok that clint and ali left in the summer, sad but ok. One was old and the other crocked most of the time. Hindsight is a terrible thing though and we should have kept them in hindsight

I don't think it was Les's or Tony's decision to get rid of Clint and Ali. It was JFH's. I remember reading they didn't fit his style of play. Also I don't recall Tony saying much about the decision at the time.
