I reckon JFH will have done well to have agreed a £10k fee to speak so £55k does suggest something more sinister.
Anyone on here have any idea what a public speaker could normally command out there? I mean someone a lot more famous I could see getting that but Jimmy?

Perhaps the delay is that they are making sure they have all the facts to sack him.
Although it could also mean that they will not be taking any action against him.

My guess is the latter and we are stuck with him and his negative football.

The key thing for me is the women makes the initial offer, and its a pretty large one (35-40k). Basic negotiation skills is to never accept the opening offer, and perhaps jimmy is just guilty of thinking he can rip them off for more after being stunned by the first offer,rather than anything sinister going on behind it.
