His delivery looks good, he just needs to receive the ball more. That cross for the Polter crossbar header was sublime

Jesus nas i do wonder if youve played the game at all if you think ned looks comfortable on the ball lol, he doesnt look comfortable on the ball at all, and especially going forward, makes old bob hazel look like twinkle toes

editted:_ sorry i dont want to start one of those, youve never played the game at any level thing again

        Ned--------- Caulker--------- Hall-------- Bidwell
        ------------- Luongo--------- Cousins--------------
        -----Washington---------------------- Shodipo----
        ------------------------Chery-----------------------
        ------------------------Polter-----------------------

Bench: Ingram, Perch, Henry, El Karate, Gladwin, Ngbakoto
If Ngbagoto signs by Midday (i'm sure he would need to sign by midday Saturday for clearance to play on Sunday but could be Friday) i think he'll be on the bench and then come on. I would love to see Washington given a chance to play right midfield and think him coming in off the wing to support Polter would give us much more fire power than Gladwin there. Think Shodipo has warranted his chance and kind of reminds me of a young Max Gradel at Leeds a few years back. Shodipo looks well up for the challenge but Gladwin for me always looks scared of something and nervous and never really shows what he can do.
But if Ngbagoto does sign in time i'm not sure Hasselbaink will be able to contain his excitement and could well start him.

Ok I should rephrase it, Ned is similar to Mamadou Sakho, he doesn't actually look comfortable on the ball because of his size but he gets the job done anyway. He doesn't really lose the ball on those dribbles and just keeps powering through until he plays it to someone. He did that a lot from centre back last season and really got us going forward with it. Looking comfortable is irrelevant ultimately, it's about how successful you are and he ends up being fairly successful.

            I agree.
Perxh should play at RB, but Onouha is the.club captatin and is likely to start.

Personally can't wait until we see the back of Henry, one of these seasons... Nice bloke, but can we trade him on for a younger version somewhere?

Agreed, thought he looked pants when he came on as a sub against watford, made a mistake in midfield which led watford on a break, through sloppy play from henry,to me he never seems to be giving it 110%,even though hes a defensive midfielder

To me he near enough just runs into bodies at the end of most of his runs,id rather have a proper full back exchanging with our right winger and making runs down the byline keeping width instead and whipping balls in,something we lose having him as rb!

That's fair enough as he's not a winger. Surely we've learned about playing players out of position (Vargas for example)

Anyone know how we fit Yeni and Aeril into the side, cos they are both starters i would think.
Cousins for Gladwin when hes a 100 per cent. But who makes way for the other two?
Shodipo will probably be dropped for Yeni, wpuod be harsh but thats football?
                        Areil for ??

Loftus that looks a good side but its like sacrilege to not see Mass and Henry in the team line up after how they both played today. Ha ha.
