Brighton obviously think he's worth that and Hughton is no mug.

Game's gone mad mate if Pritchard is worth that. £4mill at a massive push imo. He's good but not £8m good imo.

How much did he spend on Van Wolfswinkel when he was at Norwich?

Not sure was quite a lot though. Not every transfer is going to work out though is it. And if they can afford him then fair play to them. Along with that Knockthart or how ever you spell it will cause teams a lot of problems.

Nope but he was proper mugged off on that one (in my finest Danny Dyer accent) !

Time will tell on Pritchard. See how well he's gotten over that injury.

Unfortunately we don't have £8m to spend on a player anymore, not sure if you've noticed?

Would not pay 8mil for him but if he helps them to promotion, then its peanuts.

I think this is what you are missing... It's not peanuts by any stretch of the imagination for a Championship team, and it certainly isn't for us anymore.

That really does need to get through into yours and others heads who seem to think £8m is peanuts...

Complete and utter madness to pay £8 mill for someone of his experience or lack of!

£2 mill would be too much - the game has indeed gone mad!

i for one am glad we are not being dragged back down that road!

No I hadn't, thankyou very much for informing me.

I loook forward to our Stellar signing incoming from Grimsby, or Crawley town. As long as Brighton or Rotherham or Hartlepool don't outbid us MASSIVE Clubs!

I think you should be Tony's accountant, you'd save him a fortune. Look you really don't get it because you're working class like myself. The owners will look at it differently. You need an element of risk to become successful. The reason Tony the west ham fan is here because of oak park and nothing more. If we aren't successful getting this land for a new stadium then he will be gone. He needs the club to be in the premier league to match up with that pipe dream. He will need to spend to improve personnel otherwise we will keep having mid table seasons

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Brighton won't get promoted this season IMO. What would that £8m spend be seen as then?
