      It's hardly lol Mush.
Improving the squad from last season no end and expecting four of five more wins instead of draws isn't exactly shooting for the moon.

The squad last season with a summer of work on the pressing game they were trying to implement would have likely gotten us a few more wins from draws. Add in new signings that are good and you're turning losses straight into wins too.

Getting way ahead of ourselves.....as usual.

See how they settle and get on with the first 10 games before talk of "definite" PO's.

Possibly! I like the signings so far, it remains to be seen how they work out in a QPR shirt and as much as many on here didn't rate them we will find out whether Fer and Hoilett have been adequately replaced!

This imo. Don't want to go up this season anyway. Spend the next 2 or 3 seasons building slowly and patiently, so we build a team that can go up and stay up.
Thats my sensible head talking. In my heart, I'd still love another Wembley day. That was glorious.

Supporting your team is all about hope and optimism (even though being Rangers it's nearly always false), but you still have to have it, if you ain't got that why bother going?

Not knocking optimism - am getting it myself to be honest - but I have just got to laugh when I read that the potential signing of Cousins and some players who have never played in the Championship will definitely get us into the play-offs.

We were absolutely dog sh*t last season and we still comfortably finished midtable. We are improving our squad so its not unrealistic to aim for the play offs this season.

Agreed, personally think its a tougher league this year.

with a midfield of Faurlin, Henry, Toszer, Sandro, Fer we never had the squad to play a pressing game. Not enough legs in the midfield area.

My Charlton mate who just found out about this when I asked for his take on him replied "Not amazing but I like him. No huge bag of tricks but high energy and generates offense."

Exactly what we need. An engine in the midfield

We also recruited a load of cr@p last summer with only one new boy being a hit over the season , Toszer , Konch and the other W/ford man being a waste of wages Perch , Lalongo , Chery not doing it for half the season untill JFH arrived ,along with JET and the other Swindon lad being shipped out , yeah we've got to be pleased with the way things are shaping up don't know about the jam but the others strike me as having more thought put into their purchases
