I admit we were rubbish, but France have home advantage. As bad as we were I think we would have won if it had been played at Wembley.

Because we had West Brom's pony manager in charge of a bunch of gutless cowards.

Completely agree. The annoying thing is that Rooney, hart and co will play next England game. All is forgotten. We never learn.

Iceland are an actual pub side and England the tournament favourites with the bookies got a proper lesson off them.
This result just makes it even more embarrassing.

    From Twitter
When I asked Bobby Charlton how the England team of 1966 would have fared against Iceland, he replied "we'd have one 1-0" --- 'Only 1-0' I said "Yeah' he said "Most of us are in our 70s now."

100% agree with this bar the one game we beat Germany 5-1 in the 2000's

Maybe they did not qualify because i can't remember the TEAM

    England squad:

Goalkeepers - Joe Hart, Robert Green, John Ruddy.

Defenders - Leighton Baines, Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole, Glen Johnson, Phil Jones, Joleon Lescott, John Terry.

Midfielders - Gareth Barry, Stewart Downing, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Scott Parker, Theo Walcott, Ashley Young.

Strikers - Andy Carroll, Jermain Defoe, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck.

Standby - Jack Butland, Phil Jagielka, Jordan Henderson, Adam Johnson, Daniel Sturridge.

We lost to Italy on penalties in the quarter final. We seem to have gone backwards since then.
