Faurlin should have been kept. Pure and simple. Hes a proven servant for the club and would have been great experienced cover for our mid. We're going to have to sign someone to replace him as cover for next season anyway and there's a 99% chance that they won't be anywhere near as effective or commmitted as him.

I'm all for you having that opinion Kev, but I really cannot agree with it. Probably the most gifted midfielder we've seen at this club in many many years. We cannot ask every single player at the club to score goals just because that's the final aim. Some players do the work that leads to them, Faurlin is one of them. I can think of many times this season where a great keeper denied a free kick and we wouldn't be talking about his inability to score. He is the most gifted ball player in this division in my opinion and I know I've said it a lot, but that's honestly how I feel.Originally posted by Kevin Mcleod View PostYep. I'm naming gifted midfielders, and to me ale is not gifted. An opinion. That's mine."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. Better than Adel?Originally posted by nasser95 View PostProbably the most gifted midfielder we've seen at this club in many many years.
You must be kidding me? We haven't had a decent free-kick taker for years. Faurlin is a very good central midfielder but dead-ball specialist who has only been denied goals by "great keepers"....not a chance.Originally posted by nasser95 View PostI can think of many times this season where a great keeper denied a free kick and we wouldn't be talking about his inability to score.

Not a chance. I'm sure if he was anywhere near as gifted he wouldn't have been released.Originally posted by nasser95 View PostI'm all for you having that opinion Kev, but I really cannot agree with it. QPR transfer news: Aaron Pierre still a target as Rangers look to bolster defence. Also mentions Lansbury and our head physio (Nigel Cox) will join Warnock at Rotherham if he gets the job...

Pierre is a good player but he's no were near ready for Championship football, League 1 would be his best option imo.Originally posted by Hove Ranger View PostQPR transfer news: Aaron Pierre still a target as Rangers look to bolster defence. Jimmy saw him as a squad player and ale quite rightly wants to be first choice. He can't gaurentte him football so that's that. A lot of people assuming that we've booted him out but no one and I do mean no one knows the ins and outs. Perhaps ale wants to enjoy what's left of his career playing regular football that we can't offer him? He does not want to be a bit part playerOriginally posted by corbray View PostFaurlin should have been kept. Pure and simple. Agree but he is not the player he was given his injuries. No fault of his own and his commitment to the club can't be faulted. Not a first teamer for me but his presence in squad was for me vital next season. Unfortunately, men that matter, disagree.Originally posted by nasser95 View PostI'm all for you having that opinion Kev, but I really cannot agree with it. if we can find such a stud, I'd be chuffed to bits. But in the style of "we're qpr, we know what we are", if such a player existed, all the top premier league sides would be gagging for such a prospect. we'd never have a chance.Originally posted by Kevin Mcleod View PostFair enough Arthur mate. I just think that truly gifted midfielders like Gerrard and Lampard etc for bad examples, chip in with plenty of goals.
we need to find a player who will explode into such level of brilliance while at our club, not before.
that said, I'd love for us to sign Bradley Dack from Gils. he looks absolute quality!Rangers Til I Die
