Good, that's the attitude we want to hear. Hope he can prove himself next season.

All the best to him but I don't rate him, Massimo on the other hand is very talented
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Got to agree. From what I have seen of him the championship looks maybe 1 level to high.

Good league 1 player and possibly good enough fro a team struggling in our league imo. Hope he proves me wrong though.

We do need players to cover injuries. At the moment we are a bit thin on the ground.

Think he'll be a decent player once he gets some games under his belt.

At Bristol they were saying he is lazy and over weight. Reports when he played against Forest backed this up and all through pre season. Maybe a run of games with his parent team is what he needs, but I am not overly convinced.

Plus, he is hardly going to come out and speak to the offy about wanting to move away.

Thought he was really poor on Saturday - I can't work out what kind of midfielder he is. Hoping after a few more games we'll start to see a bit more from him.

If he will be used in his favoured position which is CM, as far as I know, maybe he´ll do well. Let us see what Ramsey and the rest of his coaching team can do...

Think it says a lot that he was recalled and Furlong has had his loan deal extended till season end. That to me says Gladwin is in Jimmy plans.

I'd like to see him given a run. People were writing Smithies off, ridiculously early and look at him now. Probably pushing for POTY now Grant Hall has tailed off.

Good point and off topic, but Smithies is going to walk player of the year ain't he?

                              Only contender surely. Outstanding, consistently.
