  • In the Trenches....

Mentioned in the latest Samba thread that unlike many of the current squad you'd want him beside you in the trenches, ie when the going gets tough....

Put simply - which present or former Rs would you want beside you when things turned ugly? Who could hand out stick?

    Alan McDonald would help. ;)

Clint, obviously, probably Sean Derry as well. Don't forget we've had some right bruisers at the Rs - Vinny Jones and Neil Ruddock spring to mind...

Funnily enough was talking to a Spurs Fan the other day & Gavin Maguires name came up ..........

But for me Martin Allen would be high on the list along side the others mentioned.
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

forgot about the latter two. Would you say either were in their X rated prime with us? Interesting to see if we could put out an 11 of hard men, inc keeper.....

Like NW said Martin Allen niggled away....

Would have to be a fair sized trench!

I would go, as my top 3 (in no particular order):

                Ainsworth
                Hill
                Derry
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Any one of the 03/04 promotion squad, Shaun Derry, Clint Hill, Jamie Mackie.
None blessed with that much talent, but will always fight to the last and give 110%.

Tough one. Dave Webb, Macca, Hill I think.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
