Reason we won't?...... We don't have a striker capable of scoring the goals. Polter tries hard but his not a Rhodes, McCormack etc.
Nor do we have the strength at the back.

That said.. If this month we go out and sign a proper centre half and proper striker (highly unlikely), anything is possible.

I however think it is far too late now, as the top 6 are v. strong - We also have to heavily rely on them dropping a lot of points.

One win and people dream of a run leading to the plsy offs. I'd rather wait to see what state the squad is in after the transfer window and the league table before getting too excited.
QPR may have won on Saturday but the 1st half performnce was rank as usual. 1 corner and no shots on target plus 45% possession. This has been the pattern under JFH and most of the games have ended in draws.

On the positive side, perhaps the players have finally realised how he wants them to play. Time will tell.

Looks like Bamford and Washington are the two strikers Jimmy wants. Would have preferred Gayle and Bamford but I guess we've been priced out of a move for Gayle.

Bit disappointed not getting Gayle but definitely two exciting additions.

I think of jfh and the club get Bamford and Washington in then hats off to them.

Bamford is proven at this level and Washington is up and coming and could easily make the transition up to this level.

If we sign Bamford on loan with no option to buy then I'm gonna do my ####ing nut. Another pointless loan with zero long term prospects, I really despair. Like putting a plaster over a cut jugular vein, its ####ing stupid, pointless and a complete waste if time.

Would you still do your nut if he scored and made the goals to take us into the play offs?
To keep it fair for the realists. ...
Or he scored the last second goal in the last match to get us the point we needed to stay up in this division?
