Doesn't suit certain fans because they just want an excuse to complain about everything. The fact is, we can play 451/4231 but some fans don't want us to because they want to be in charge of the club. But then they complain when someone more qualified than them realises that 442 won't work for numerous reasons. Again, people need to see something with their eyes go wrong before they can accept that it is a mistake. IF we start playing 442, when it starts to f u c k up because of every reason that should be obvious to people, they will complain that JFH got the tactics wrong. Some fans here will start saying we should play 1-0-9 because we aren't attacking enough. Its a joke sometimes.

451 is just 4231 by a different name. Really, its a simplification of the way to define it. But they are the same thing and I'm sure when we both say 4231/451/433, they all just define the same thing said differently. At least from my perspective, they are just different phases of the same style.

New you would say that. We had adel who was always up there causing havoc. Plus helguson. Like having 2 up top the way we played. And a positive attitude. Looking to beat every team home and away.now we play for a draw at home to teams like Huddersfield. Embarrassing.

But you are criticising the formation, not the players. I am criticising the players, not the formation. Fer or Chery should be playing the role Adel did - maybe even better - but they aren't. Is that because of the formation? no, its because of the player.

Bit of a rose tinted recollection. We mainly ground out results by having a team of grafters plus Adel who we hoped would pull off a moment of magic to nick games. Not knocking it as worked a treat overall but reading your comment makes it sound like our play was wave after wave of attacks and nobody could stand against us. We went up and it simply didn't work as Adel understandably could not make the same impact against better quality players.

At the moment we seem to struggle to get one fit striker never mind two but have loads of midfielders. Doubt we could manage to stick two up top if we wanted to.

We'll that brings me back to the first post I made earlier. I blame the manager. How can chery play the role when he don't pick him? How can any player play the role when JFh won't play the formation. ? Players are a disgrace in there own right. But JFh ain't getting away with responsibility either. He's running the team.

I saw Chery play that role in that formation because we've been playing that formation (don't even know how you haven't realised we've been playing 4231 with Fer/Chery behind the striker) and he was awful. No creativity, a few nice touches but no vision. JFH is setting the team out but what can he do when Perch is mostly injured or Smithies gets injured or Austin is injured or Sandro B i t c h e s out. Its not his fault players are making one or two stupid mistakes at the end.

There was loads of games where we played great stuff. And games where there was wave after wave of attack. I was proud of that side. And that was my best season supporting qpr . So I'm not having you making out we were some boring team that season. We was a joy to watch and no fans gonna tell me any different.

Cery has been poor when he has been behind the front man under Ramsey and JFH

He looked better when he was on the left as he found more room and influenced the game more

Still find it amazing that people still think the manager is the problem

We've been really poor. Cherys hardly got a looking. You can look at it how u want. But what I'm seeing is boring and predictable. And getting a poor return of points . And it's the manager who's making these decisions.

Absolutely but with the form of Hoilett, he'll need to wait in line to get a chance wide left.

He's hardly got a look in because he's been awful and lacking any commitment when he's had a chance. I still remember he made an awful cameo as a sub and people said he needed a full game to judge him under JFH. So he did just that and again, he was terrible. The manager has made the best decision here for the team.

We have no suggestion of that being the case just yet. If he performs, offer him a lower contract, simple solution, do it early and make it clear that we won't change our demands.
