I'd also say the application and the desire of the players was much better.

I think the fullbacks are one of our biggest of many problems atm, they allow too many crosses and offer very little offensively on the flanks!

the best full backs ive ever seen in 55 seasons is the partnership of clive wilson and david bardsley,i know people will say what about dave clement ian gillard paul parker terry fenwick etc etc but these two worked with such nonchelate ease they rushed up the wings like wingers as well as doing there defensive duties
we finished fifth in the prem and it was all so wonderfull
