I get what you are saying, the thing is, on the left hand side, we don't actually have a 'Winger'. Its really asymmetric how we play so you end up with Phillips being the only real winger, hence the total lack of width in the last few matches until he's moved wide.

Hoilett out wide then if not playing as number 10. Chery is 100% not a winger for me, far too lazy.

I agree with that sentiment 100 percent. As I said though, I don't think it really matters who's in the 'left winger' position as it hasn't really existed this season apart from when Petrasso took it on. Its more like a wide playmaker position, where the player almost always cuts in and switches with the central player.
