One of the problems a new manager is going to have is how much respect the players have for him. One of several things that bother me about JFH....

People forget the Burton job was well underway when he got there. This is gonna be a totally different kettle of fish. There have been definite signs of improvement under the current regime, which makes me wonder (yet again) about the sanity of replacing them for someone completely untested at this level, never mind the EPL.

It´s a problem if we have a set of players who only want to play for Warnock, but the fact that JFL is a coach who likes his team to be well organised from defence bodes well.

He'll be a fantastic appointment, he's going to be a top manager imo.

I think so too, all he needs is a chance.
