A bit of a concern that since his Celtic days, he hasnt really done too much. He seems to be behind a list of bang average strikers that Norwich have. Cant see him fitting into the way we play and like another poster mentioned, not sure why he would swap the prem bench for championship bench.

Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                And many more mistakes

I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Maybe there is planning going on in case Austin moves on in January.

Cant see it happening Stan. I understand clubs do panic buy, but why not wait 6 months and pay no fee. Austin will also be due a large lump payment if he lets contract run out.

Think we have him for the season regardless of where we are in the table.

Not to mention Jerome, who's been shite all his career.

Hooper went downhill when he left Scunthorpe to play in the pub league. Should've gone to a top championship side or lower prem team then and he'd have continued to improve.

Don't think we were ever in for him,why would our gaffer want another striker?

Wednesday are putting together a strong playoff potential squad

We were in for him when the club thought chaz was going, but like you say, pretty sure we were not when he stayed.
