Not at all mate and actuly reassured by your opinion as it's based on actually seeing him in the flesh so respect to you. Was not digging you out James just curious as to why you never rated him as tons of people on here have slated players etc based on no more then hearsay and messageboard opinion you've done the miles so I take your view seriouslyOriginally posted by James1979 View PostSerious question west, if people disagree with you, have they automatically not gone to the game?
He will never be a crowd favourite as he's not that type of player but from the two games he's had a run he keeps it simple and does his job. One thing that I did notice about him is that he don't cover the ground very quickly but that could be fitness related

I saw golbern at Yeovil and I thought he looked alright in all fairness. Good ball control and picked a decent pass. However must stress Yeovil were pants.
My assessment of golbern is he isn't championship ready atm but he could come on 15-20 mins here and there against the lower level teams in this division and do a job and see how he progresses in those games.
From what I understand the deal was a no brainier the lad has potential not on huge money, fills the squad out and has been give a chance to prove himself. If not he's released in 9 months time.
