Would be delighted with Davies personally......can't see it happening though

Would take Davies all day long, he may be a bit older but we have Hall waiting in the wings and could learn a lot from Onouha and Davies

Surprised if true that Davies has been in and out of the team. Obviously none of us follow the day to day ups and downs of players at other clubs but he always struck me as a classy defender. As for Collins we were interested in him when we were in the Prem. Some felt he wasn't a particularly ambitious signing for a Prem club but for a Champ club he would a brute of a centre half. Slightly different players imho - Collins more of a Stevie Wicks, Davies more of a Glenn Roeder (not saying either are in the same league as those two Rs legends but extremely good players nonetheless). So relieved this issue is apparently being addressed as there has been radio silence on the missing defender for a while.

Davis is class but would cost, I'd rather Dunne & then with extra money sign Nakhi Wells
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Davies for me to partner Ned. He is class. Nothing against Hall but the competition could do him good. Collins I'd have as backup.

I would settle for that also but Davies a few years ago, yes, but this kid Hall has something about him, Caulker WILL come good and don't forget, he is only out on loan, Koeman is a good judge of a player, and he chose Caulker?

We need to leave space for Cole Kw. Hall and Caulker, I know Ned is doing well and if he keeps it up then more power to him but in three years he hasn't, in his defence, I know he has often played out of position but hmmmm?
                        Kept the faith!

He hasn't played for them for about four years it seems. Long term injury.

Paper talk I reckon. Why would Hull sell Davies to us?
