Some of the media reports don't add up though. Apparently Southend want 1.6 mill for Bentley who was our number 1 target but we have bid just over a mill and won't match their valuation but we have now agreed a 2 mill deal for our number 2 choice

West Ham apparently have no interest in Green either.

Would rather we kept Green and used the money we would spend on Smithies and what we were willing to spend on Ream, and go and get Dunk.
