I think this attitude is why we might struggle this year. The board and everyone surrounding the club are banging on about young players with potential, lower wages, style of football etc......Everyone seems to have forgotten that we actually need to win football games. Its ok everyone wanting to sign players from the lower leagues and its great when it works, but for me it rarely works. if it was easy, everyone would be doing it and it comes with massive risks. Funnily enough i actually think both Gladwin and Massimo look decent players.

Anyway i am rambling a bit, but my point is Ramsey and Les seem to be saying the right things and wanting to do the right things for the club, but it just doesnt work most of the time. Isn't it every clubs dream to have a great youth set up, sign young qulaity players for peanuts. In reality, it just doesn't happen anymore. We need to sign players who have done it at this level. I see Nugent has recently moved to the championship. Exactly the type of player we should have been after.
