Calm down dear. Wasn't slatting Clint at all, was just pointing out all the money we have spent over the last few years and Clint is still starting for us even though he's come out himself and said his legs are pretty much gone.

Exactly. I can only think of two last season. Both when Clint was playing LB and players cut in and ran across the box. Isla committed endless such errors; inside and outside. And Caulker? Oh boy. Count them. Anton? The same. Clint conceded a free kick in a dangerous area against Villa away, which Benteke had then to score a great goal from. And Clint scored what could have been the winner in that game. Delude yourself, Del, that he makes endless errors. He doesn't. Fewer than most.

I take the point Fordy was making. Suspect Clint would agree with that general point.

Every CB we've brought in has been s hit. Samba, Anton, Anton mk2, Gabbidon, Caulker..... And Ned's never nailed down a place at CB. Only Nelsen and Dunne were decent. Both outstanding in fact. I'm off to bed. Don't like folk criticising Clint.....
