Few problems with that:

1.) Would Charlie pick Palace over Newcastle?
2.) Would Palace pay anything like what we want for?
3.) Is the article even for real? - It's in the People for starters and for 2nd's it just seems very unlikely, surely there is a cash buyer out there for Gayle if he's available. What benefit would Palace see in sending him out on loan?

My money is it on this one being nothing but paper talk!
